Yearend Legacy Giving

Is all legacy giving that’s received given away the first week of January? Or how is it spaced out/handled with overall missions giving (local/national/global)

Legacy Giving is given before the end of the year. We already know where we will give to and have local ministries to pour into. We’ll make a year-end investment into ARC and global missions (by training and deploying missionaries). We will increase the number of Bibles we are translating. 

The offering is given away. The offering also accelerates some of the vision at Highlands like campus buildings. We already have plans to build the buildings on our current cash flow, but offerings can accelerate the building process. 

Monthly tithes and offerings funds the monthly obligations. The other things are things we don’t have to do because we haven’t committed to it. The monthly obligation includes a missions budget.
