Sundays matter most and should be your biggest focus. In this context, the role of children in worship is vital. You cannot preach good enough to make a bad children's experience better. We believe that the greatest way to win souls in this time is history is by caring for families well. This include kids and adolescents. 

The answer is not the same for every church, sometimes volunteers are committed to not being paid and are okay with being a “Dream Team” level team member. For example, Church of the Highlands' first Children's pastor chose to be a volunteer in that role for several years.
