Legacy Meeting Content
Regarding the annual Legacy/Business meetings you used to have in the beginning of your church, what would you discuss?
Each year, our church hosts a special gathering for tithing members to present the current state of the church.
- Verbal report of the health of the church
- Audit statements that are available on request.
- Cashflow statements will show what is spent on what.
As the church continues to grow, presenting finances in percentages rather than raw numbers helps make the information more digestible and meaningful. We also take time to compare these percentages to healthy benchmarks in other churches to provide context and clarity.
Over the years, attendance at this meeting has naturally decreased—not from lack of interest, but because trust has been built. As confidence in our stewardship has grown, so has the peace of mind among our members.
We always ask ourselves a simple but powerful question: If every member knew exactly how we spent every dollar, would they feel even more inspired to give? Our goal is to ensure the answer is always yes—through transparency, accountability, and vision.
