Leadership Team Meeting Prep

Could you walk us through your preparation for a leadership team or executive staff meeting? How do you determine goals and the agenda for the meeting?

Pastor Chris has everyone send them written reports every month. The report has practical items as well as two questions: “What do you need from me? and “What are you working on?”. Sometimes they are working on something that I don’t want their focus on right now. 

He does a lot of prep before the meeting reviewing the reports and asking clarifying questions to the person if he needs more context before they discuss in the meeting. He will prep all day Tuesday and the lead team meeting is on Wednesday. It typically takes 1.5-2 hours to do a lead team meeting.
