Election Season + Politics

How can you effectively balance your grace and voice in communication regarding the election? How do we navigate through this tension with the congregation?  

Focus on the issues rather than the individuals involved. Prioritize policies over personalities by discussing the important topics and encouraging others to vote based on shared values, rather than for specific candidates.

 Ultimately, it’s the heart that will change the world, not the person or policies in office. While we participate in this, our hope cannot be in the office, but in Jesus. 

Encourage individuals to seek guidance from scripture.
