Easter Invitations

How do I train people to invite others to Easter?

Encourage your church members to create a disarming and welcoming invitation experience for those they’re reaching out to. Instead of making it feel like a big ask, help them keep it simple and relational. For example, they could say, “Hey, our church has four different services—I’d love to go with you to whichever one works best for you.” This casual, low-pressure approach opens the door for conversation without making someone feel obligated or uncomfortable.

Also, share stories that inspire. Highlight real examples of people who invited a friend to church—someone who had never stepped foot in a service before—and watched as that friend raised their hand to receive salvation. These moments show that a simple invite can lead to an eternal impact.

You can also be vulnerable and lead by example. Share your own story about someone you’re praying for or working up the courage to invite. When others hear that even leaders are in the middle of the process, it helps them feel more confident in taking that step themselves.

At the end of the day, it’s not about pressure—it’s about creating opportunities for people to encounter Jesus. One invite could change someone’s life forever.
