Control vs. Growth

I have been challenged with the thought/statement of "We can have control or growth as a leader but you cannot have both." How did you deal with this?

Never remove yourself from your gifting and anointing area. PC doesn’t remove himself from worship or numbers. To grow to high levels, you can’t micromanage all areas. Still monitor the bottom line - it’s not controlling to have information. 


PC makes the expectations very clear then he gets out of the way. If there’s a problem, then PC will step in as needed. The bad part of control is that it’s robbing you of time that you could put in other places. When you release control, you give leaders the freedom to flap their wings and they could bring your organization higher.
