Communicating to Your Congregation about Property Acquisition

When acquiring a new location, how much do we let our congregation know?

Once vetted by your trustees and board, bring it to your church and cast vision for the opportunity. Not making the decision and signing the contract and then putting pressure on them to give money to make it happen.

Paint the picture, if we got this, we could make this happen. After that, let the chips fall where they may. Remind yourself that if it is the Lord, he will touch their hearts and provide and be okay to share that with them as well. So, give lots of vision, numbers, and help remove the pressure, and let them know you are trusting God.
